Wind deflectors - bought! With PICS!
Looking for wind deflectors for my saloon, the cheaper option is this one:
http://cgi.ebay.it/Peugeot-406-saloon-1 ... 457wt_1141
what do you think? Anyone got some more pictures with them on or can testify the installation is easy?

from what they say, yes they are, they claim TUV certificaton too. They cost 30£+shipping and come from the shop J&J Automotiveno2lurch wrote:i cant get on ebay as i'm at work - are they the sort that fit in the window channels?
BTW it should be sufficient to use a proxy server such as hidemyass.com to evade internet restrictions

Re: Wind deflectors - anyone tried these out?
i just had a look at these. i think they come from poland. mine did anyway.
i have this exact sort on my d9 estate. the only thing i would criticise is the deflectors in the rear doos do slip down a mm or 2 every now and then.

Good, so you recomend them?no2lurch wrote:i just had a look at these. i think they come from poland. mine did anyway.

I guess a small drop of glue would prevent them from moving while not making them unremovable.
At ca 40€ shipped they aren't cheap but on my black saloon I bet they would look good while adding functionality. (black=oven when under the sun, keeping windows slightly open helps)

Re: Wind deflectors - anyone tried these out?
they come with small 'v' clips which ensure the window will find the channel as they do 'relax' when the window is down past the deflector.
mine came with some double sided tape which sticks to the inside of the top seal. i fitted mine whilst it was damp, so i plan to renew this tape.

Well thanks for the tips mate, I'll probably get them even if they aren't cheap.

Re: Wind deflectors - anyone tried these out?
Half tempted myself to source a pair - nothing sucks more than 90+% humidity, 30 degrees and you have a summer storm. Fogs up like crazy!
Re: Wind deflectors - anyone tried these out?
These things are good things to have at the doors, i loved them when i had my clio. But here people think this stuff are only to old people, and not so sportive to have in the car ..
but does tinted deflectors are calling my attention

Re: Wind deflectors - anyone tried these out?
Better 2 for the front doors or 4 for all the doors? 4 cost almost double, but they look more uniform and are more useful.
