a question about the sat nav stuff. Did the multiplexing affect it? is there a pre and post multiplex sat nav drive and screen. Same with the car radios is there a pre multiplex radio and post multiplex?

Not sure about the sat nav screen, but the pre-multiplex stereos are different to the multiplex.

i asked a seller on ebay for one, and the tight b******d is looking £40 and then postage, and is unable to confirm for me if the thing works or not.
Why do they charge such prices, its not as if theres a huge demand, which i can understand puts up prices for the com2000, or drivers window switches.
Should i wait longer?

and warning messages are now a bit more longwinded:

i had to put it throught the pp2000 the cd changer and steering controls didnt work with it, but the pp2000 has the option for adding the navigation, 10 seconds and they work again (imagine what a peugeot dealer would charge).

Wat if i wanted the high res display without the GPS? Would it be fine to have only the type C display?

ahy you can plug in just the the type c display without the sat nav, works fine just no options appear for gps.
But you may need to reprogram the car for sat nav anyhow so the steering controls and cd changer can work with the new display, 10 seconds if you have your own pp2000.

Good! How much did you pay for it, if you don't mind me asking?

Well, I'll have to wait until Ade gets one...
BTW maybe knowing the display alone goes for 270€ from the stealer may make your expense somehow less demotivating

its about £270 over here, for that you could get a car.
but i didnt mind as long as the surplus parts get sold it should put the cost of the screen down to what its worth ie about £40, its just their rarity putting up the prices, and the fact not enough 03/04 cars where the type c come standard havent broken down or been wrote off.
