WATER LOSS
Hi im losing water at about 1l every 70 miles motorway and town use the car doesnt over heat but the sensor shows needs topping up i have searched hi and low looking for any leaks or water marks i cant find any the system has been bled but no luck the car never over heats even in traffic i keep topping up but need to find the source of leak. any ideas welcome thanks Danny

Hi, put a peice of cardboard under the car ,
check it the morning after see if theres anysighns of water on it,
Have you checked, near the Crankshaft pulley for brown water stains, might be a leaky water pump if youve checked everything else,

Have you had the radiator pressure tested?

i had exactly the same problem and it was the radiator. Kept on having to top up the coolant when the warning light came on. If you look at the bottom of the radiator you might find its leaking there. I fixed it by buying a bottle of k-seal and adding it to the coolant works the same way the bars stuff does seals it up from the inside but its less agressive. Hope that helps.

Another thing to try, if all else fails, change the Header tank cap,
