Well I was digging around trying to find where the Heater Control Module is in my passenger footwell as my fans aren’t working inside my car!!
Well I came across this loose wire .... as I’m not really an electrics guy, I was wondering if anyone could tell me where it plugs in and what it’s for??
Secondly can anyone help and tell me where the Heater Control Module is?? Dose anyone have any pics that could help??

Totally agree with you here. Peugeot/Citroen always have numbers on wires as thats how they are coded as they do not use wiring colours. Defiantly aftermarket. Actual sheaths on the wires don't look OEM, so there's another sign it could be aftermarket. The wires are too 'colourful' to be OEM
MattyF see my posting on blower motor failure before you start dismantling anything.
My 406 is lhd so will have to think rhd.
Haynes indicate two motor control units.
Follow the wires from the blower motor and if it goes to the front right of the passenger footwell right at the end and above the gear shift trunking you may be lucky with a separate unit tucked away in its own housing held by a single and visible screw.
The thin control wires from the facia panel also travel in the same direction and the motor control unit green plug should also be visible.
The other motor control unit is attached to the blower motor itself which will require removal of the bm to get at. Ugh!
During my own investigation I did not come across anything that resembled the wire in your pics and if it is an addition it looks a pretty professional job to me.
