need some help guys!!!

i have a 406 v6 coupe with a overheating problem !!im not sure if its air locking and i just cant figure it out ,water pump been changed,radiator changed ,new thermostat,all heater matrix pipes are getting hot but the rad is staying cold????
done a chemical test to see if head gasket leaking and it didnt change colour.the temp guage inside car reads 80 but because the rad s not getting hot the fans wont kick in???
is there anyone with any ideas that may help?????

It is always possible to pick up a duff thermostat. Maybe they're better than they were but I once picked up two in a row that were duff. Best have it out and test it. You did do the silly bugger bottle bleedy thing didn't you?

yh that plastic bottle...wots that all about?? what is the best way on bleeding the water system ?so many bleed valves!!
ive even tried running it without thermostat and it does exactley the same thing....

whats the bottle under the wing for??
and theres another which has the returns coming to and from the heater matrix

I think that's a degassing tank (no idea either but it's talked about a fair bit over on the Coupe Club).
