Post by DiscoPol »

nicked this off a friend on facebook

Step 1. Open Google maps. Step 2. Type Japan as your starting point. Step 3. Type China as your destination. Step 4. Scroll down to instruction 42. Step 5. When you've stopped laughing, copy this so others can laugh too
try it.

made me smile at least,

Surely there is some sort of ferry service between Japan and China?

Jetskiing wouldnt be the most efficient method of travel.

I was watching Goldfinger yesterday.

Bond and Goldfinger load their Rolls Royce and Aston Martin onto planes respectively and fly to Geneva with them.

Is there a commercial airline that offers this service?

Imagine that, arrive at your destination, no bother with taxis or coach transfers that go to every bloody hotel before yours, just start your own car up and drive!

This would be very easily achievable.

It's just paying for it would be the problem. Nice RAF surplus Herculies anyone?

Would have to compare the costs vs. the cost of taxis, hiring a car, coaches (and the inevitable time taken to visit every dead end street in a resort to pick up 1 person at the hotel at the end of it..)
