Holy crap dude, that's a nightmare :( I've no idea what to do but perhaps you could ask over on the Ilexia forums http://www.ilexa.co.uk/forum/index.php?board=22.0 and/or ecu connections http://www.ecuconnections.com/

Good luck!

Have you tried uploading the original file back up?

This is always the problem when using cloned tools

Do you have access to Peugeot Planet or some other diagnostic software to see if it will connect to the ECU?

More hopefully, several of the coupe owners have experienced similar sounding problems, only to find the ecu responds correctly after being left alone for some time.

I have heard of other cases where, if the download process is interupted, the ecu becomes 'locked'. Possibly it can only be recovered by reprogramming by a specialist, off the vehicle.

Before you try that, I suggest the following, (may not help, but it will not make it worse).

1. Ensure your laptop / Galletto / drivers are now working correctly (and still do after shutting down and restarting your computer).

2. Turn off the ignition, remove the keys, close the doors and wait at least 15 minutes, before turning back on and trying again.

3. Follow the safe battery disconnection procedure here: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=13431

4. Leave battery disconnected fo at least an hour, before re-connectiong and trying again.

Hope that helps, let us know how you get on.

ECU is only locked via IMMO

On a self learning ECU, if you d/c the battery for about 20-30mins it reverts back to default settings, so it might recover. Thats why if you leave your battery off for a while things like the idle is lumpy

@leehdi yea i tryed atually thats what im trying right now.. got backup files.. and the programm worked fine as i said tuned the engine half a year ago like that worked fine for me.. just me stupid was trying it again and it crashed due to wrong drivers.. so my fault..

anyways @all thanks for the help but it didnt work i cant reset the ecu it wont work with battery off for days...still shows me key symbol n wont start.. its dead..
so i tryed the local tuners theyll fix it for like 300€ around here....
so i just ordered today a used ecu,bsi and key fob to work properly for around 200€ includ. shipping.. i hope changing them will work than again.. but im quite sure like that problem is solved anyone care for a broken ecu!?

You can reprogram it using the boot mode and your galletto

On a galletto k-line is pin 7, earth is pin5 and +12V is pin16
