That's a variant one. The normal one is three plugs like on the other picture.
PSA-XS Evolution interface should read K-Line Mine does
It's nothing to do with this project really, its just the thing it uses for coding and diagnostics. K-line is pin 38 on the connector for future reference

Well i know it's nothing to do with the project, but why it's different then the normal ? there must be always a reason lol...
I tested 2 lexia clones and none of them were able to diagnose my engine ecu ...

Does it even recognise the ECU, or does it say not replying?
When it trys to communicate it says not replying ... one of the clones was able to recognise " a bit " of the engine ecu, it said " unknown peugeot reference " or something like that, and was also able to recognise the ABS and airbag ecus , and the other clone was neither of the two ....

I take it this can't be done on a Com 2000 406? I looked behind the blanking panel for the switch on mine, the connector block is there but there are no wires behind it
On com2000 cars there is no switch on the dash, it's all in the stick. Have a look at the pedal bracket for the connector for the second (red) brake pedal switch. Mine doesn't even have the connector, all I have is the hole in the pedal bracket for the switch, I read that they don't always have it so I have to run a wire from the engine ecu all the way to the pedal bracket
All i needed after all was changing my ecu, my original ecu didn't have the cruise/remote codification in it's features, my friend's 406 from same year had an ecu which had it and found one like he's.
Unlocked and coded, function programmed, tested = 100% working
