Back in 2001 my parents bought a Chrysler Neon R/T from Ken Thorne World Of Cars in Cardiff.
Anywho, the spare key was Allegedlly stolen by someone working there and Allegedly sold to a well known car theif in Swansea.

Bailes didnt you mean that the keys were allegedly sold to an allegedly well known car thief, or was there a trial and a conviction? in which case you are more than welcome to stick the guys name up

& did he still get away with it?
Just like the little scrote who stole my wife's first scooter out of the back garden (he lives within 100 yards) got away with it, even though his fingerprints were all over it...

I don't think he did, I think he went to court for lots of different things on one go.
Suppose my Mum shouldnt have had the V5c in the door pocket of the car, but if they wasent there then he'd never have been caught!

leaving the v5 in a car leaves you wide open to Loss,
the Theif couid claim he was sold the car,
even an Mot cert couid get a theif off with T.w.o.c. seen it happen,
the car can be then impounded whilst dispute is Resolved,
happend to me once but with a Motorbike iwas stopped on, iwas Arested but was released withought charge,
ihanded over the motorbike to the chap stating he was the owner, ididnt have too,
ilost a Weeks wage on that, ihonestly thought id bought the thing in good faith but what if ihadnt ?
