At uni in Scotland, there used to be anecdotes of people with NI licences committing offences in GB and avoiding getting banned (and vice-versa with a GB student address).

I was once told by someone in RoI that he had 2 Irish licences, both in different middle names.

Not sure how true these anecdotes are, urban myth pubtalk probably.

These are quite normal in our system or the easiest way is to bribe the officer and flee the scene

Probably true - my wife & her Aunt both have 2 birth certs each - with different birth years on them. The wife's is only a 1 year difference, but her Aunt's have 6 years between the 2 certs!

I like the paradox

Go back in time to kill Hitler, stop WW2

You kill him, stopping WW2, but then in the future, you have no need to go back in time to kill Hitler, therefore you don't do it, therefore you've changed nothing.

This of course requires time to be entirely linear and incapable of splitting into alternate time-lines. Terms and conditions apply. For full details, consult the DeLorean DMC-12 Owner's Handbook (section 6, Appendix B - "Time Travel No-No's")

Of course if DeLoreans had really been equipped with time-travel devices, most owners would have gone back to the day before they bought it & told themselves not to do it!

I was watching Family Guy last night with my 15 year old Lad and we both wondered whether anyone can actually hear Stewie in the show? Brian the dog seems to? apparently it is something debated widely?

I don't think they can, I think they hear what we hear as his reasonably intelligent talk as baby-babble. This is evident in some of the earlier episodes when for example, he would be given a bottle or pacifier to quiten himself down.
And the one where Peter attacks Lois as the result of a joke taken too far, he heartily approved but Peter took it as baby-laugh.

The only one who can hear him is Brian, and they have adventures together. Brian himself is an anomoly, a dog who talks, walks with 2 legs, drinks, drives a Prius and fancies Human women. Though everyone can hear Brian.
