New rear discs and pads then?...
Left the 406 sat for quite a while now with the handbrake on- discs sounds pretty.. umm... "Sexy" when I move it about... Weird colour too

should be fine will soon clean up when you have used the brakes a few times

Rear ones will be fine at this rate... It's just the front ones. Shuddering under braking is bad- any way of easily seeing that they're warped?

If the steering wheel shakes under braking the front discs are warped.
If the car judders but the steering wheel does not shake then the rears are warped.
If the car has been stood for a while I would suggest the discs will have warped.
The only definite way of telling is to run it into your mot garage and ask them to check the discs, they will know very quickly.
