My Focus...

Post by Bailes1992 »

2000 miles since it's been 100% perfect, 2000 miles that I've driven the car without thinking "OMG whats that noise, whys it doing that"...
But today, I pulled out of a junction and heard a beep much like when my petrol light comes on.
Engine management light fully lit

So plugged my laptop in and got this code...

DTC P1729 - 4x4 Low Switch Circuit Mailfunction

I think it's very confused

Owch could be worse, this is the GF's car. Exactly the same engine as mine but with cylinder liners to bring it in from 1.6 to 1.25 litres.

Maybe you have a 4x4 Sierra underneath? :cheesy:

But that said, I highly doubt it. The Focus is such a good vanilla-hatchback to drive. Just think to yourself - "Hey at least its not a Mk1 Megane or a Mk4 Golf"....

I love how every single video on there is about a broken Fu**us.
Shame not even a very desperate thief wouldn't steal that POS.
