Carpet Mat Fixings

Post by af1960 »

Does anyone know where I can get replacement plastic plug fixings for the 1997 model Coupe driver's side carpet mat?

Without the plugs, the mat creeps forward and balks the pedals - disconcerting when the accelerator sticks down!!!

hi sorry about the delay, i forgot how to get into servicebox there, but here goes:

i suspect what it is you need is number 10, or number 15. I had a look at the price and they are only 57p for both, so getting these from the dealer cant be too bad. Some ebay sellers can buy stuff off servicebox if you find one selling clips just ask for a specific part (quote the servicebox number) and they usually can get it for you.

I understand about the carpet, my old clio had carpets in it that kept creeping forward and the brakes would get caught.
