Finally got everything working !!

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Finally got everything working !!

Post by iangt4 »

last thing to do was recharge the aircon after changing the compressor, which i did to find my radiator fans weren't working  aircon would cut in and circulate to gas for approx 10 seconds before the high pressure switch deactivated the clutch because the temperatures were getting upto 85 degrees
Oh joy how many relays, resistors & fuses just for the bloody fans !
Checked the fan - not seized, Checked the fuses - Not blown, Checked The Relays - All Working, Removed the Relays and cleaned all the terminals, did a continuity tests on all the pins, all fine, check the fan speed resistors - all good, even stripped the ecu apart to check it hadnt burnt out this part of the board..... Looked fine :|

Oh Peugeot, why do you decide to hide fuses !!! EVEN MORE FUSES UNDER THE MAIN FUSE BOX IN THE ENGINE BAY ! 40amp & 30amp fuse blown ..... you wont beat me
