see pic.

the green is where i looped a live feed,
iirc i looped into the orange cable,

then fed that into the fan blower live,
ihad to splice into the wiring for the fan blower but on the fuse box ijust crimped the wire and pushed it into the connector,

check first with a multimeter before doing this tho if you go this route,!!

at first ifed a live direct from battery into the blower which isolated itself via the ign so no secoundary swich was needed but that played havoc with the bsi
ocasional fault came up on the mfd, BaTTERY cHARGE FAULt,

so if u dont bypass it correctly thats what you will end up with :(

Also a inline fuse wouid be best added ,

The fuse to the blower is 40amp, so I think you're looking at a big accident waiting to happen with 27amp wiring
I know when I replaced the connectors on my blower due to intermittent working, I used 50amp Anderson connectors
1999 D8.5 HDi GLX - Sold :(

2007 Mondingo Zetec - I seek forgiveness :( Bring back my 406

Works! Thicker higher amp cable and as they said! Let there be air movement!

Iagree with what your saying mate,
but when iused cable thinner than the cooker wire it got warm,
the cooker wire kept cool,

i only used it as a Temp fix to get me through the winter,
