Never see any "communist" cars anymore - Lada Samaras, Skoda Estelles / Favorits, FSOs
I have owned a Favorit and a Skoda Rapid (coupe version of Estelle) and I currently own a 1988 Estelle 120L5 with the ultra rare skoda sport KN minator minilite replicas and it has the "birdbath" group B boot spoiler and full SkodaSport body kit. Done 44k from new, never welded, original engine and box, no rot on the car anywhere. Had it completly resprayed proffesionally in 08, garaged since. Starts first turn of the key every time. Never seen another one of the road. I think theres only a handfull left in the UK.

When I was in the Uk at the beginning of the year, I spotted one Calibra on the A2 being driven "rather enthusiastically" - probably wanting to see that his CD coefficient was still awesome...

There's still a couple of AX's around - like the one in Lambeth with the windscreen held in with gaffer tape...

If you like old cars - come here. The dry conditions mean that there are plenty of cars still on the road of an "older" vintage. Heck - you still see Mi16's around and about :P

My first car was a Talbot Solara, haven't seen one in years....

Also had a mk1 fiat uno, mk1 nova, mk2 fiesta...

Strangely enough I saw a mk2 nova yesterday and the thought crossed my mind that I hadn't seen one in ages, but as you say it was totally chavved up :( . A nice, original condition GTE would be a good find, I'd rather have a 206 GTi though 8)

205 GTI 1.9s that aren't chavved up/have a galactic mileage. Rare sight them. Saw a 1.6 just this morning though! What a cracking chassis they have! Anyone ever seen a T16? I recall my first acquaintance with one of them a few months ago on a twisty road by Chester.. will never forget that moment  :D

I've done just over 450 miles today
and it's surprising how little older cars there are on the road
ok, come a friday or over the weekend when peeps are going shows or have a weekend car, then maybe there are a few more about

Today, the older cars i've seen are

M reg Peugeot 405 Estate in Cumbria
another 405 estate in Cumbria, also M plate
M reg 405 glx saloon in County Durham
L reg 405 saloon near East Midlands Airport
a L reg Micra as above

everyting else was 1999 onwards
