ignition help???

hello im new to all this, but im just after buying myself a 406 HDi 110 but there is a problem with the ignition. the car turns on not a bother but it wont turn off, you can take the key out and the car still runs and drives so after getting the car turned off by stalling it the battery has to be disconnect as it remains on..what could be the problem of this i am aware its french so there could be many lol

couid be the ign switch is duff,
or someones done away with something,

check the wiring and around the fuel pump area to see if someones been messing with it before buying the car,
Has the Imob been Rigged?
