how much is it worth????

Post by trem1 »

i have got the chance to buy one of our rep's cars which is due for replacement and i'm wondering how much we all think it's worth,
its a 406 8)

53 reg samarkand blue

hdi 90bhp

its an s spec which has sat-nav
multi-changer

77,000 miles
with full main dealer service history
bad scratch"down to the metal" about 6 inches long on front n/side wing

had some kind of fuel-saver device fitted
under the bonnet" dunno nowt about that"

thats about it so whats it worth ???

i'm hoping to get it for about £2000
am i being a bit hopeful or realistic

they sell them of cheap to employees cos it saves having to transport them to auction

let me know what you all think its worth please

Sonds like you might be a bit optimistic. My '99 D9 Samarkand HDi 90 with 70k miles & optional alloys is worth £2300 private, £2490 dealer, according to the Parkers service on ITV text.

There are 3 HDi 110 for under £2.7k but all have around 110k miles.
The others are £3.5K+
