Immobiliser Code
Having been through the paper work I can't find any mention of the code, so I'm only using the fob and deadlocking the car. How do I go about getting a new code, if I needed one?

Re: Immobiliser Code
That's a very good question; you may need to visit a dealer armed with proof of ownership.
The procedure to change the code is:
enter old code
press "c"
enter new code
press "c" again
You may find that you can change the code with the immob disarmed from the plip, worth a try!

Re: Immobiliser Code
Hmm, well I've been through the manual and it talks about setting the immobiliser. It says that if its set to immobilise automatically through the remote, once the car is unlocked with the remote if it isn't started within a minute it will ask for the code to be entered manually. Now I've had the car open and not started that quickly several times and it has never asked for the code, so I'm wondering if the immobiliser is working at all? Bearing in mind the age of my car would a franchise Peugeot dealer be able to tell me the code if have proof of ownership? I'm guessing Peugeot UK have a customer care department, would they be able to help?
