Caught Speeding

Post by Captain Jack »

Welp, come home to my parents place for the weekend (it's CARNIVAL WEEKEND!!!!) and I have a nice shiny letter from the boys in blue saying I've been caught doing 90mph in a 70mph zone (motorway).

Is there anything I can do before I send off my details? I was caught by the speed camera van thingy sat on top of the bridge over the motorway. I *was* doing 90mph, but is there anything I can do to avoid the impending fine and probably 3 points?

Thanks

None taken :cheesy: By all means pursue all sensible and lawful avenues to ensure you aren't getting stitched, but don't start following some of the advice bandied about in the books they advertise in the Stun. After this weeks high profile case the courts are chomping at the bit to get tough with those that try and abuse the system, or unnecisarily delay/fudge proceedings when there is clear guilt.

Good luck.

No I just thought maybe there was a (legal) way around it. For the sake of £60 and 3 points, I am not about to kick up a stink where I know I was in the wrong.... down to experience me thinks... and a Road Angel Snooper!!!

Jack feel free to forward the PM I sent you to Trem, I'm not going to post its contents on a public forum!!! And I stress that the info provided is based on my own personal case, I'm not stating that it is suitable for anyone else.
