the gearknob costs £43, but i was at the stealers the other day sometimes the part prices can be cheaper than they appear on servicebox.

It's up to the stealers to do lower prices. They do gain on sold items, so it's up to them to make discounts. Most of them just stick to servicebox suggested prices, but may ask lower if you have a big job and ask for a discount.

Its hard to imagine gear knobs being a big seller at a peugeot dealer, prices should go down as the car gets older.
