the falling or tripping dream is weird because it actually wakes me up if i jump

ive had a dream where i parked in a multi storey car park and cant get out the exit seems to go back to the same floor so i find a sledge hammer and knock down the wall and drive out, and put a wet floor sign in the gap.

It's all coming out now :)

I have a dream sometimes where I'm expected to go though an impossibly small door or opening to get somewhere and I feel the fear of getting my head stuck (being trapped) that's normally a waker-upper too :frown:

The only reorcurring type of dream I have is when somethings happening and I can't move, feels like I'm tied to an elastic band.
I.e. there was one where there was a bomb in the house about to go off and I was stuck in bed and no matter how much I tried I couldn't get out of bed.
Another where there was a leak in the roof and it was dripping on my head and I just couldn't move myself from under this leak.

Before I got diagnosed with my sleep disorder and got treatment, the wife often would wake me as I'd be sitting on edge of the bed steering and changing gear!!!!!!!

Alot of weird dreams are caused by somethings that you eat,

for eg, a good friend of mine, R.i.p
used too eat 2 or 3 tins of heinz beans, or spaghetti ravioli etc a few hours before sleep,
he said it gave him the best weirdest dreams ever, something to do with the carbs he said ?

ididnt believe him so itried it, its true,

Tramadol and Carbamezapine, very vivid and real dreams at the time, can't remember a thing when I wake up but theres a slight rememberance feeling there in the back of my brain.

So it's the tramadol that's giving me the weird dreams, aha! I've halved the dose on it now and I'm back to remembering that I had a dream, just can't remember what it was about.

Yep, Tramadol nights, excellent.
Been on them for a few years now, I am dependent on them at max therapeutic use plus some, chuck in Carbamezipine, Ibuprofen and a couple of others it makes quite a daily cocktail. Oh and the regular blood tests to check they aren't doing too much damage to me.
