Hello & welcome.
What year and engine and trim level is your 406? How long have you had it and how far has it travelled? Do you have pictures?

Re: hi all you 406ers
Something like 70% of all UK 406s were fleet cars (repmobiles or taxis, typically, but there were some modified for police use) so it's not unlikely yours has had that type of history.
My old 406 saloon (1.8 petrol LX) was owned by Britannia Insurance by a rep who lived in Glasgow - from the first registration date in November 1999 through to the day I bought her in November 2008, she'd done around 29,000 miles - the guy must have been driving her from his house to his office and back, and that's it.

Re: hi all you 406ers
Mine came from here: http://www.blackhorsecarsales.co.uk/ which is very close to where I used to live at the time. I assume, therefore that mine was a fleet motor for Lloyds bank. It was 3 years old and had 84,000 miles on it.; that was in 2005. It had an address in Falkirk stored in the satellite navigation system as "home".
