boot switch

im wanting to flush my boot on my estate. i know i need a switch which i want on the dash board or somewhere round there but thats as far as i go on what i know lol. i hope someone can help me

Which end are we working from here? You have everything else figured out but you just want to know where to put the switch or you know it needs a switch somewhere but the rest is a mystery?

id like to open it from inside the car but how to get it to work and open boot is beyond me. i dont even know how much im lookking at or what id need.

think a central door locking moter weould do the same job.

Your right mate,
but for what the kits cost, its not worth the messing retrofitting wires idont think,
thats just my opinion anyway,

iirc some cars used to come with boot poppers standard, eg the mk6 escorts

some citroens have them too going off this ebay link :arrowd:

thanks for that lozz you know how to help a novice to these things lol. i will send in pics as we go. front end will bw first till i get the boot switch working. it wont work first time with me
