406 coupe sat nav display

Hi guys

thanks for helping or reading at least.

I have a 406 coupe 2.2 hdi defaped and remapped i did it myself well proud.

I have another problem which is the sat nav display. Its very pixelated and line every where.

I have opened it up and am good with electrics but need some help as to where to start fixing it from.

Any ideas would be appriciated.

P.S if anyone has a 2nd hand sat nav display i would be interested in buying it.

That means the LCD itself is shot (not fixable), so you'll be wanting a replacement.

Try Ade1122 in the coupe forums or on eBay, same name. He's a coupe braker.

i got another display from ade but this also has dimming on one side and the thing gets very hot but its absolutley fine when cold. no dimness shiny and everything. anyone got this repair resolved ? thanks

Dimming on one side? Sure it's not one of the three rear lamps broken? Yes they do tend to become very how, the 3 lamps behind (at least in the standard non satnav display) are 5W I think, which is a lot for that small non areated space.

How much did you pay it from Ade, if I dare ask?
