here are my seats the smooth type leather seats for a D8 . fully electic and can be fitted into a car thats not allready got electric seats. (altho i didnt have heated function working) but the heated pads ar still all there ...
comes with cables ready for wire up .... simply needs positive feed and earth (dead easy)

still in same condition .. will throw in some autoglym leather cream cleaner and polish
Those look good......if I understand correctly these will drop straight into my pleb D8 and work provided I give them power? No ECU required? You're not up Glasgow way anytime soon are you?

yep they will drop straight in. simply run the 2x fused cables to the battery ... and the 2x earth cables to under the center console (there is an earth point there)
and bobs your uncle job done.... NO ecu needed. because i got the extra cables from a cloth electric seat from gtx model.... so i could wire the drivers seat up without the ecu cos the passanger seat doesnt need the ecu anyway...

Nope, 406 interiors aren't expensive - a few try for silly money, but on the whole they seem to go for £100-150 depending on condition & body.

ye i'd be happy with a ton. just askin on here 1st ... if they dont go i'll put them on ebay... in no rush to get rid really car is going nowere yet... plus if i take them out nowere to store them..
gotta get my private plate off logbook before it goes to scrapper .... strip the fuel pump off and starter motor and other bits and bobs before it goes as well...
its in pretty good nick TBH no rips anywere only drivers side switches around those is tore. which is common as you all know....

the car runs ok mate to an extent underpowered and splutters a bit when going.... . well it did till battery died because battery light on because i went through a huge puddle doing 40mph
anyway decided not to throw any money at it because when i dip my finger in the coolant tank it comes out jet black

idont blame you not throwing anymore money at it but if you got it running at least it wouid better than having no transport,
if its not overheating iwouid go with what already sugested (oil cooler,) this weather you can get away with by-passing it
peice of copper pipe and two jubilee clips is all it wouid take,
Got plenty of good batterys here no need to buy one mate just give us a shout if you need one,
ive even still got the grey cloth interior ihad in the d9 if you need one incase a sale comes up on your leather interior.
