Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Still not heard from anybody with PP2000/Lexia to say that they've seen the option to turn them off, but I would've thought that if a dealer has said that they could do it, then chances are they'd do it with their PP2000/Lexia.

For what it's worth, mine have been accurate when the tyres have needed pumping up and haven't given any trouble so far.

I'm sure I saw something about this on the 407 site....Trem will know. :D

Asked a guy that's selling a C5 on Ebay about this earlier as he said that he'd removed the sensors as they corrode very easily. He said he turned them off using Lexia & got no more messages about them on the MFD, so I'd say the same would go for Peugeots & PP2000.

Pumping the tyres up last night manage to snap the end of one of them. I had to swap it with the spare last night in the dark and rain, was not pleased especially when the petrol tanker arrived and was told to move when the car was jacked up with the wheel off. "does it look like i can move idiot" i shouted back

Took the wheel to my local tyre place today. The bill....... 89 quid for new valve complete with sensor and coding

Mine's got tyre wear sensors - under 2 mm tread on the o/s/r and it shakes your fillings loose.

2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)
