thats a bit to far away from me mate... trying to stay local "ish" within 60-70 miles just in case i get there and its a banger...

guy wont budge off price...
going to view this monday morning ... £500 but its due a timing belt and john (jasper) is gonna do it for me . so around £700 all together then i know its ok
or do i just see how long it goes for before snapping ... but if its as tidy as it looks in pictures i will have it changed

only think that worries me a little is guy said in service history last belt was at 66k
and now its at 160k
i think there 82k intervals on this engine so its gone over by about 12k (thats if the intervals are 82k)

well i got the 406 1.9... tidy car. pulls very well . much better than my old 1.9
not even gonna bother having timing belt done. gonna buy a newer new car early next year so this is just a time filling thing and i dont think the next car is gonna be a 406

here it is and its stayin like this. apart from my wheels will be going on it due to tyres being low...

Looks good from where I'm sitting.
Forum note: The Cambelt interval on all HDi engines is every 96,000 miles or 5 yearly (whichever comes first) the owners manual states this for cars of 1998 to 2001 but the interval may have been extended on 2002+ cars.
