clutch pedal switch
I'm really going for it today with my questions boys.On my newly aquired 2003 110 exec estate the cruise control did'nt work and having a fiddle as you do i found this morning that the clutch pedal switch had fallen off,i refitted it and hey presto the cruise now works but the strangest thing is the car seems to go better,it seems like it pulls better in the gears, would the switch have anything to do with the running of the car? French electrics are somehting else!!

Re: clutch pedal switch
Like the brake switch, it's connected to the engine ECU and reduces power when it thinks you have the clutch down and are just revving the engine producing more of those nasty emissions for no very good reason
We'll be getting catalytic converters on our arses next, or they'll ban baked beans and cabbages or something.
