have you ever had your 406 2.0 8v petrol turbo plugged in to diagnostics? did they use the 2 pin plug in the engine bay? im asking as iv had mine plugged in recently by a snapon machine and it wouldnt connect? iv traced the wires back and its definetly wired in correct and was wondering if anyone has had theres plugged in.

Its not something I've ever experienced, I can't see why the snap on kit wouldn't talk to it though?

Has anyone got a tubby motor around that it will connect to? If mine was done I'd come over with mine.

Re: 406 petrol turbo diagnostics
Tried to connect my PP2000 to a petrol turbo at the Gaydon meet, without success. That car had a 16-bin diagnostic connector by the passenger fusebox, so I only tried that. Didn't have enough time / info to determine if the diag port fuse had gone, (which is probably the most likely scenario).
Don't suppose that helps much, but it's the only relevant info I have.

2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)
