door lock

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Does any-one know if I can just change the lock or barrel

Yes mate, you can change the lock,

but if iwas you iwouid soak the one thats on now in Wd40
they have a tendency to seize up or just turn and turn and not open or lock,
abit of wd40 might get it working worth a try,

gave the lock a real good soaking in WD40 and guess what works again, don't know how long for though, but thanks to all for the help and All the best at Christmas and New Year
