my accident in the v6 coupe

Post by swampyv6 »

looks like one of the clubs old cars will be going to visit the grave yard in the sky!!

some idiot decided he was going to turn across me at a junction.
i was on a main road, he was on same road coming towards me, he decided he wanted to go down the road to my left, so he just turned.
tried to sttr around him (he was totaly my side of the white lines) but we hit passenger headlights.

damage is bumper and wing being pushed back and out of shape.
looking inside the wheel arch the inner wing is a nice shape now.

other guy has admitted liability in front of witness's so hope all will go smoothly.

im hoping i can demand they repair the car back to its former glory but im not getting my hopes up.

if i cant get it repaired i will be n the look out for another d8 v6 to swap all my bits over and ill buy mine back from the insurance and split all the good parts out of it

(THIS WAS keiths CAR, HAS THE D9 INTERIOR AND THE V6 BADGE THING ON THE REAR SHELF INSTEAD OF THE FIRST AID KIT)

this happend back in june, insurance paid out for more than i purchased the car for (which is good bearing in mind how little they fetch these days) and i managed to get all the parts required to repair it from ade and all in the correct color

few shots of the damage
