Sorry to bring politics to the forum but as I'm sure many you are aware of this proposal I had to put this here as I thought it would interest many of you
The government's proposal to introduce road pricing will mean you having to purchase a tracking device for your car and paying a monthly bill to use it.
The tracking device will cost about £200 and in a recent study by the BBC, the lowest monthly bill was £28 for a rural florist and £194 for a delivery driver.
A non working Mum who used the car to take the kids to school paid £86 in one month.
On top of this massive increase in tax, you will be tracked. Somebody will know where you are at all times. They will also know how fast you have been going, so even if you accidentally creep over a speed limit you can expect an NIP with your monthly bill.

Road pricing + vehicle tracking
Assumptions are the mother of all F**k ups.
From the BBC:
Best case: about £12/week
Worst case: Presuming £1/mile for the M6/62/602 in rush hour, up to £600/week
I'm out of a job if this comes into effect
So for me:# Prices would start from as little as 2p a mile on quiet roads outside rush hours.
# The maximum price would be £1.34 a mile on busy motorways like the M25 at peak times.
Best case: about £12/week
Worst case: Presuming £1/mile for the M6/62/602 in rush hour, up to £600/week
I'm out of a job if this comes into effect
IMO,
This will never come into effect, due to the fact that the only people who will vote a government in with a policy like that are the green peace people (Fu*ckin idiots), hell I have never voted but I would get off my arse an vote against this utter stupidity as go the rest of the none voting motorists (apart from the people who live in the country, then again just wait until all the country roads are full of cars trying to keep there bills down)

This will never work.
Imagine, if your average working person, commuting to/from work at rush hour peaks (because that's when you need to get to/from work) is suddenly faced with firstly the £200.00 tracker, then bills of £100.00 to £600.00 a month, then you just could not go to work.
Millions of people would pack in there jobs, abandon cars all over the place, start fires in the street, start punch up's on street corners, it would be like a Civil War
