central locking stopped working!

Hi guys after any help if possible.
I have a 2000 2.0 lx hdi estate and last week I went to get in car and key fob wouldn't open or lock the car.
I've changed the battery and checked the fuse and still nothing.
Any ideas would be great.

mines got something almost the same except it`ll work now and then , my friendly parts guy says it sounds like the fob circuit board is knacked
£200 for new and setup but only if you have the tag with the 5 digit number for the key !!

I had the same problem only difference is that when i bought the car the c/l wasn't working
done all the battery ect things still nothing so i gave up
had the car nearly a year now and just sorted it. just got pp2000 and connections and a cheap laptop
thought i'd try resyncing the keys and job done funny thing is i got the whole setup including lappy
for less than it would of cost me to go to the dealers and get them to do it happy days.

OK, my fob locks and unlocks all doors fine,
but,
both keys have just stopped operating central locking from drivers door unlock only.
ie. both keys will lock all doors from the drivers door, but will only unlock the drivers door.
This started a couple of weeks ago, initially I thought the lad must have done something when I chucked him the keys to get his jacket. I've read the manual, locked and unlocked multiple times by all methods, same.

Whats going on?
