clicking noise

got an intermittent clicking noise under the glovebox area , any thoughgts guys ?

yep. that will be the air-recirculation flap motor

this is prone for going. inside is made from plastic cogs. once the teeth break it clicks because its stuck. if you press the air-recirculation button on the dash the sound click should change slightly

if i remember rightly its about £255 from the dealers. so a trip to the local scrap yard is best option

its located on the left side of the fan. just above the fan itself

i only ever need fan for demisting

no it isnt needed. if you un-plug it just make sure the flap is open .

if it stays closed you will find your windows will start to steam up all the time ...
