What i like about sitting up high is that you can see over the cars in front and can see when everyones braking and back off a lot earlier,much safer.

The Transit cab is TINY in comparison to the sprinter

my dads got a transit 125 350 that always spins up but its nice and fast takin off

it will tell u in the book my dads old works sprinter used to have a Tachograph and wen he had to take it to get they had to take the fuse out

Be very careful about interfering with speed limiter or saftey functions, which carry fines in the £1,000s and driving bans. Not saying it applies to this for certain, but its getting close. Some of the little one man parcel carriers down our way have got caught for this.
And over 3.5 tons? It needs a tacho now. This can include 4x4s towing trailers.

Don't think it is as simple as a fuse any more. Where I worked years ago we had the pre-Actros Merc tractor units. The night trunker used to have an M reg which he could take the fuse out of - he always replaced it with an identical broken fuse in case he got stopped - but the P reg ones didn't work the same way. He said something about having to be going along & crossing a couple of wires on the newer ones, can't rightly remember as it was years ago.

I think you're right. It's never worth the chance of a fine in the thousands and a driving ban.
Just to drive someone elses vehicle quicker.
