ok now been back on road for over a week (over 500miles) and no issues .
car is a 2001 2.0 HDI 110 estate . cost £700.00 ( 1 yrs mot 2mths tax)
auxcillary belt £9.00
timeing belt kit (tensioner,water pump,belt and pulley) £79.99
solid crank shaft pulley £39.99
head gasket set/bolts £63.50
oil £37.99
air filter £8.99
oil filter £7.49
fuel filter £8.49
polen filter £12.99
anti freeze £21.99 (5 ltr)
total cost £990.42p.
hrs spent working approx 24+ (over 4days) hrs spent worrying too many
final result worth it = 1xhappy bunny
If anybody has any questions or wants copys of the photos please ask .if someone on here can tell me how i will upload them for all to share if required.

ok uploaded all to photobucket but still cant get them on here ...it was easier doin the headgasket ...and quicker

1) go to your photobucket account so you can see the pictures you've uploaded
2) look in the address bar at the top of your browser window - there's an address in there that looks a bit like this:

http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v653/ ... 6%20Coupe/

the one at the top of your browser window is the address for your Photobucket album - highlight it all, right-click it and select "copy"

3) reply to this message and paste the address in that reply
