Must say that picture shows how right Peugeot got the frontal styling of the D9.

Agressive without being chavvy, classy without being pretentious.

Their decision on later models to extend the headlights halfway up the bonnet never had the same effect.

Totally agree! I definatley think my Rapier in Moonstone looks more sporty where as Dai's Exec looks far more... executive?

Pah, lightweight effort Sam. Back in the days when we were allowed to park on site at work, 2 of us parked either side of our supervisor's new car so close that the only way he would have got in was through the boot - if he'd been far enough from the wall to open his tailgate! We never actually measured the gap, but we weren't able to turn our hands widthways in the gap & our mirrors had to stay in front of his. He had this habit of disappearing half hour before the end of shift, but funnily enough he didn't on this night...

Is that a small rust patch on your bonnet Sam? Must say that although mine has a very small amount of bubbling on the underside, the later 406 bonnets were definitely a weak point with regards to rust. There are still a lot of very clean early D9s, but even when I was looking for one over 2 years ago I saw a lot of late plate 406s with that same rust patch on the leading edge of the bonnet.

I didn't get too close just incase I misjudged the gap

Yeah my bonnet was resprayed by Peugeot due to rust when it was 2 years old according to an invoice I got but it's rusting in the same spot again.

Yes, them be power folders.
Yes, that be a Welton Panel.
No, there be no Laguna Splitter anymore, thieving pikey bastards.
Yes, if you want to play the parking game please go ahead, but be aware that it works both ways....
If you're going to get it wrong, the back, right wing is the place (could do with someone else paying to get that fixed) :supafrisk:
Why didn't I comment on this thread at the time??
