This guy is on another planet...

Post by Captain Jack »

... selling his coupe for 8 (EIGHT!) grand! This is with 166,000 miles on the clock with the FAP fault. Anyone want to knock some sense into him?

Oh dear. Shame about the Looney Tunes price tag, because even with that mileage, the car looks to be in great shape (recent MOT pass too, which is nice).

Great colour to boot, just needs a deFAP and remap and it'll be a cracker.

I think he must have sold it and not removed the listing and just put a stupid price tag on it so it doesn't sell because the first day the listing came on it was £799 as i was watching it and when i looked the next day it had gone to £7999.

The Coupe looks awesome in Noir Granit (Granite Black), still don't like the Nautilus alloys though. The half-leather Recaro seats on the Silver & Black Special Edition trim are very nice too, and the S&B has the JBL sound system from the SE trim.

If I had a second Coupe I'd want it in Granite Black, and I'd want it with either Amarante Red or "Cuir Blanc Settanta" (70th Anniversary White Leather) trim, rare though it is.

Failing that, a Cosmos Grey with either Amarante Red or Cosmos Blue (probably rarer than the Settant'Anni white!)

Ah, one of the very few custom-resprayed white Coupes. Not seen many of those; the only other one I saw mentioned in the UK had white-painted door mirrors.

The Coupe looks good in white, but I think a darker, bolder colour (Aegean Blue / Diablo Red) highlights the curves in the bodywork better. If this was my car, I'd have kept the rub strips as black plastic though.

There was a photo of a Granite Black coupe at a meet somewhere - it had the rub strips painted the same kind of silver / brushed aluminium-effect as the interior door handles are on S&B Coupes, and it looked pretty cool.
