Didn't get chance to ring the guys Lozz mentioned, but tried Chris Knott, and they came in at £632 including credit fees with a £250 XS

So glad i saw this post, two people 406hdi estate full comp full breakdown cover £100 voluntary £100 compulsory all the bells and whistles £473...£130 cheaper than Admiral my current insurer. 8)

excellent.
many swear by ck. ithink its all down to postcode tho,

some say hes expensive !

Maybe the stumbling block is an issue with some (it is with me at the moment to be honest) £108 but then you only pay 10 months direct debit... Have to say i spoke to a really lovely lady too, very helpful, patient, polite she was even chuffed when i mentioned someone put a thread on here about it (chase them admin thats free advertising) :lol: ... will see how it goes but that seems quite cheap to me the way things are.
