Aftermarket Keyfobs
I've been looking at this one on ebay as mine look very tatty and both buttons are damaged:

I have the key cutting code for a replacement keybalde, I don't have the immobiliser keypad code but it has been disconnected for a long time. Can I still programme the key to work with my car without that code?

Re: Aftermarket Keyfobs
from what it says in the advert you dont need to programe your key as you just swap the insides from your old key to the new one then away you go'
why do all the blanks look the same?and why dont they look like mine? as mine has one big hole and one small one.

They're D9 plips. Or fobs
I can't remeber what car you have Omega (get it sorted!) but I think it must be a D8 . that'll be central locking. Omega, I know you can get the big button out of Pug but I don't know about the small one.

Re: Aftermarket Keyfobs

Might be cheaper than replacing a fob for somepeople,

ithink you need a signal tho, not too bad tho perhaps if your original fob is half fubard,

The keyfob is not the same as the ones I have, looks nicer though. Though its difficult to guess without seeing inside, I'm wondering how the insides would fit when my fob is a different shape and size?
