406 tow bar cage nuts

hi i bought a tow bar off fleabay but it didnt come with the cage nuts. ive emailed the seller & got no reply so im stuck would any1 have 6 going spare to sell. p.s the dealers will only sell tow bar with cage nuts

have you looked into how you are going to get the nuts in place?

This is a common thing! I found it out same way as you! What i did, and worked fine was to guess roughly where the nuts would be and then drilled up into the chasis rail so i could poke nuts up and tighten up, undersealed then put rubber gromets over drilled holes. Job done.

i am trying to avoid drilling but if i have no luck then the drill will be coming out to play

Search for cage nuts on the net there are a few firms that sell them .If Iremember rightly there was no need to drill to get any of the nuts in two of them at the rear of the car are already there as captive nuts

For bolts etc igo to a iron mongers, (Rothwell's)

last time ifitted atow bar igot all the bolts etc for well under £3.50
