Daft question maybe?
Does anyone know what the weight of a pug 406 towbar would roughly be? i advertised mine on ebay and have someone asking for a postage price before they bid... i dont mind doing that but have no way of weighing it and the listing ends tomorrow... it's a saloon.

anyway it wont be over 25KG i wouldnt imagine. and you can send parcels upto 25KG for £8.31.
http://www.p4d.co.uk used these a lot and still do today. book it all online and they collect it from your front door .
obviously dont charge the buyer £8.31 . charge them something like £14 i would for a towbar.

Actually i paid £19.99 postage myself... Ps how would i weigh something so awkward to put on a scales? ballance it on the towball with two of us holding each end?
Re: Daft question maybe?
to weigh something on bathroom scales,
first stand on the them, take your weight,
then stand on them again holding the item , take the weight and subtract your weight from that,
thats how iwork out how much my dog weighs, works for me,

wouidnt recomend anyone using this Method if theyre weighing abig dog fecks your back up after a while,

Re: Daft question maybe?
Mine is only 22kgs compaired to yours but i aint picking the fecker up... got back problems and quite severe internal problems myself mate so i had to get a mate to weigh the towbar... (but yet the dwp have declared me fit for work)
..... it was our old dog we use to weigh on the house scales but he was only 9kgs... that was heavy enough mind.
Seems the towbar is less that 20kgs so put that and the dimensions into the site Gary posted and it's about £15 with parcel force... cheers gaz.
