Which drop links?

Post by rwb »

Can you recommend any, or is it just pot luck, or are they all just as bad?

I changed mine last year before the MOT, I paid less than £10 for the pair from Ebay and it's just gone through another MOT without a problem. No knocks, bangs or anything.

Mine's gone through a few MOTs with them. :supafrisk:
It's only now that I've put two and two together and realised what the noise is.

it shouldnt have gone through mot with failed droplinks because if the tester would have checked the wheel it would have had play in it

or is it an advisory ? not sure TBH never had a link flag up on my MOT cos i always change them before i go

Shouldn't have play in the wheel from drop links?

I've had an advisory on ball joints, but not on the drop links.

My drop links have been in at least 6 years, and therefore probably since new, so it's implausible that they're not past it

My droplinks were replaced under warrenty after 12 months and I assume the ones on the car now are OEM.
I'l go to Peugeot as I need them if they can last 8 years.
