Nothing happens to the stereo - it's coded to the BSI so it'll only work in your car but there's no codes or anything to put into it.

they just make up that on the price of the codes for the keys

dont know if the peugeot main dealers are the same as citreon ones,
isaw one chap getting charged £170 for a key because he didnt have the plastic card, no wonder citroens gone under the same roof as vauxhall,
