Yeah it was easy!
I made a little card template from the hole on the other side of the cowling and stick it on the non cut side??
I cut the sides with a junior hacksaw and used a hot knife to melt the bottom bit and then tidied it up with a file. Looked standard

When the clowlign is off theres a blanking plate, just pull it out and the cruise stalk just clips in.
