Ive used that before mate,
not abad price, but iirc it worked out expensive as there not 5 litres, had to buy 2 cans,
only works out cheap on the 2nd service as then you will only need the one can,

I bought a 4ltr for £26 and a 1ltr for £9 and at £35 was cheaper than Halfrauds own brand,£9 for a litre was expensive but Halfrauds wants £11-£12 for the same stuff. It was for my BMW as i bought semi for my 406 when Asda were doing Castrol 4ltrs for £10 a pop.

Yeah true,
Halfords is a joke with prices, iavoid buying from there when ican,
local Motorist shops are alot cheaper, internet, even cheape'r but then theres the waiting game, for it to arive,

im going to use the opie oils as they do filter kits, ive got adiscount code too, saves a few quid,

Makes me laugh how a food retailer can do cheaper oil than a motorist retail chain, god knows how much a weekly food shop at Halfrauds would cost

the opie oils are cheap lozz but is it any good for a remapped 2.2, I had a turbo go last year and don't want to risk the same thing happening again.

Although my BMW hasn't a turbo i wouldn't put anything less than Castrol in it,the same goes for my HDI but that is only my opinion but i've used Castrol for all my cars and never had a lubrication problem ever.I even used to use GTX in my Triumph 2000's i used to banger race years ago and never had an engine failure.

just had a look and they recommend four oils and with the filters there good prices, I read somewhere before that castrol edge is the best oil for the hdi but it is expensive, I suppose fuchs £32.40 or mobil £37.30 for 6 litres with the filter are good oils?
