If the car's got air con then there's a drain there for the water than condenses on the evaporator. I think there's a how to on the coupe club but as much as I remember it's just removing the centre console, pulling the pipe & making sure it's clear.

It's here http://www.406coupeclub.org/phpBB3/view ... 45&t=24934 but I think you need to be logged in the site to see it.

Depends what the fluid is, it's a bit suspicious that you're (possibly?) loosing coolant at the same time.

yh although the water on my floor is odourless, the coolant prob has been happening for a year or more now, i thought id fixed it by changing the thermostat but seems i havent :( although could my sensor be dodgy? ive noticed i dont have any fill level indicators in my coolant tank, so maybe ts broken off and dropped into the tank?

Does the level actually drop? I couldn't tell you where the level sensor is on mine, I know there's a box on the top of it with wires but I've no idea how it reads the level :?

yh the level had dropped quite a bit, just filled it up again, its quite a slow leak tho, think was at least 2 weeks since i put the new stat and coolant in, so this is too slow for a headgasket isnt it? what about radiator?

looked at that link you gave me and it seems that might be the problem, as i say there is no odour so im pretty sure it isnt the coolant, im juyst worried about why im lossing coolant every few weeks.

If i were you i would put a drop on my finger and taste it,if it has a sickly sweet taste it's coolant but no taste and it's probably condensate, that is pressuming you have anti freeze in the engine.

It's the easiest test going, I was thinking to suggest it then I thought about how poisonous antifreeze is.. spit, not swallow :supafrisk:
