Engine coolant leaking into passenger footwell HELP

made a thread yday about having water in my footwell and i can now confirm it is the coolant, so this means heater matrix doesnt it? is it likely to be anything else or is this always the matrix itself? not the hoses etc?

Hi,

if its just a small leak, get some Rad/weld. or if you ask in the Motorists shops they have little silver sachets, iforget what there called,
but they will seal a Matrix if its not a major leak,

anyone got any tips on how to get the water out the footwell? cant see it being easy

Wet and dry hoover, or loads of old rags /towels,

has the Matrix let go on you, ?

yh dripping out quite alot now, need it to get me to work and back tomorrow then hopefully change it on sat

yep cant think of anything else it would be... when mine let rain water in the only way to get it dry again was whilst on a really long drive, put it on full heat, fan on max speed, with the window down.... so i had iciles hanging off my nose whilst my legs were melting off! good luck getting it sorted
