That sounds right, just thought i'd make sure as it took me a while to figure out how it worked as Peugeot neglect to put a dash light up when it's engaged.

Re: PP2000?
I configured the BSI and it did it instantly.
The ECU look about 2 mins to configure.
So wondering if I configued the BSI right.
I may have to pop up and pay a visit to doggy.
Even with a BTEC National Diploma in IT, Cisco CCNA etc etc This stuff is more complicated that my other half

I spent lots of time driving on empty motorways. It would be nice to be able to just stick it at 75mph and chill out

Re: PP2000?
The only thing i will say is that it uses more fuel when the car is on cruise as opposed to using your right foot.

Keep trying mate, youl get it working eventualy,
perhaps they need that 2nd switch to activate it,
perhaps they need that 2nd switch to activate it,

Re: PP2000?
I don't remember how it was speelling in english the BSI menu but i guess to modify it's configuration you would need to select something like " remote codification " or " miscellaneous " here you will have a list of " present " and " absent ", find the one saying " cruise control " switch it to " present ", then when you will go back the programme will ask you if you want to configure it that way, click on the green tick circle on the bottom.
You are now done. If you done this in BSI and ECU and still not working, i guess it's something missing on your car ...

Re: PP2000?
Sounds like you've done all the right stuff Sam, but TBH it's so long since I looked at it, I can't be sure. On a fully mux car, you defo have to enable it in the BSI & I woud imagine in the engine ecu too. (In the semi-mux variety, I think it's only in the engine ecu). They also have some other function that sounds a bit the same, but actually only generates an alarm when you go over 70.......
Other conditions for it work:
Has to be in 4th or 5th gear, (which it calculates from revs & road speed, so any issues with either measurement will inhibit it).
Speed > 30 mph.
CC selector = ON
press set/+ or set/-
On Bosch systems it must have clutch not pressed, brakes not pressed AND correct 'coherence' between the two brake pedal switches, (they must operate separately and in the right order).
If you haven't posted that you've cracked it by Saturday, I'll hook mine up, double check the above & if you want, go through it over the phone with you - PM me a number if you're interested.

Re: PP2000?
Had a play tonight again.
BSI knew when I pressed the brake but not the clutch.
Which is even more confusing considering both me and Rich have the same issue where we gently lean our foot on the clutch and the car starts to accelerate (Both HDi90 Siemens).
I wanted to find the Throttle position sensor % but couldn't find it on the BSI or ECU 'paremeter measurements'.
Also every time I tried to get into the BSI settings I got the message "No communication acvtivation in progress"
Just wondering, if I was to get another key cut and made up, can I code everything with PP2000? Or do I need that bloody card with the code on it?

Re: PP2000?
If you can't access BSI settings you are out of luck, without this you can't select what to put " present " and " absent " ... In conclusion, i'm also done with chinese rip ofs... My chinese clone didn't worked well with my car, but with friend's 406 from same year with different line of production/installations worked like a charm ...Bailes1992 wrote:Had a play tonight again.

By the way, did any siemens had cruise ?
This also happens with the galletto stuff ... mine worked 1st time and now i get no com or works like 5 seconds then i lost communication with the ECU ... it's frustrating .
You only need the code if you are changing ECU or immobilizer ... but you need at least have the same transponder internals ...
